  1. Joseph Petro says:

I have been a nightlife photographer for about two and a half years now. Starting out photographing local bands for promotions under a non-paid internship. As you stated in earlier video’s internships are a great way to get your foot in the door. Anyway just recently coming across your site in the past month, i applied some of the lighting techniques you offered. They worked amazingly even at my skill level. Showing that there is always room for a little improvement. Your video’s are very helpful and informative. Thank you for helping me improve on technique making experimenting exciting again. Keep up the good work.

    Joe

  14. [..YouTube..] @exile4ever The simple answer would be if If you wanted to capture more depth of field, the higher the f-stop the better. However, you would definitely need to use a lower shutter or higher ISO.

  45. jun says:

hi myles , whats settings for aperture, shutter speed and flash can you recommend for a dark background when shooting in clubs? tnx

  46. Myles says:

You’ll have to experiment, but you’ll be narrowing aperture, increasing shutter speed, decreasing ISO, or a combination.
