Hi, Nightclub Photography! First I’d like to say that I enjoy your videos and find it very informative … and it’s only the 2nd episode. I’m a beginner at nightclub photos and need some advice on what the best external flash unit I should buy? I have a Canon 7D and was in debate whether to get the 580ex ii or the 430ex ii? Is spending the extra money on the 580ex ii really that much more beneficial to nightclub photography?
I’d like to support and get involved with Nightclub Photography TV as much as I can. I noticed you guys have a forum so I’ll start there. I look forward to your future episodes. Thanks!
Hey, thanks for the comment. I would go with the 580ex ii if you can afford it. It’s more powerful and you can use it as a master speedlite to communicate with other flash units. The 430ex ii can only be a slave unit.
